Omer Shem Tov, Uri Danino and the brothers Mia and Itay Regev were kidnapped from this vehicle.

On the night of the October 7, Mia and Itay have returned from a trip to Mexico, and thought that they wouldn't have time at all to come and participate in the Nova festival. Eventually, they arrive at the party on the night between Friday and Saturday together with Omer Shem Tov, and together they meet Uri Danino  at the party. 

When the shooting starts, Omer, Mia and Itay run away and hide. Uri manages to escape with his car, but while he is still driving he decides to go back and save the other three. He succeeds to locate Mia, Itay and Omer and they escape from the party. On the way they encounter terrorists who shoot at the vehicle until it stops. Uri, which instructs them to bend down, disappears from the vehicle immediately after it stops. Omer, Mia and Itay are kidnapped to Gaza. They have not seen Uri from the moment the car stopped, and he is defined as a kidnapped person.

After 50 days in Hamas captivity, Maya Regev was released, and 4 days later, her brother, Itai Regev, was also released.

On September 1, 2024, nearly 11 months after October 7, 2023, the body of the late Uri Danino was recovered during a military operation and returned to Israel for a proper burial. He was murdered while in captivity by Hamas terrorists. May his memory be blessed.

On Saturday, 22.2.25, after 505 days in Hamas captivity, Omer Shem Tov was released, and with him returned to Israel: Omer Wenkert, Eli-a Cohen, and Tal Shoham. Two additional abductees, Avra Mengistu and Hisham a-Sayed, also returned to Israel on the same day, after over a decade in Hamas captivity.
